Nearly 100 NPS members attended the recent Judges' Training day at Askham Bryan College, Yorkshire. They were joined by students from the college who took part in some of the demonstrations, and had the opportunity to listen to first class speakers from the world of showing and veterinary science.

Participants listened to a speaker on each of the Mountain and Moorland Breeds and the finer points of conformation of riding ponies, and had the opportunity to compare and contrast the different breeds shown.

The event was opened up to a wider audience to allow the students to benefit from the experts on hand, and was well received by all those who attended.
