ILPH Equestrian Photography Workshop - 21s May - ILPH Snetterton, Norfolk
Published in: Welfare on: 8 Apr 2008
The Flash Centre will be hosting an Equestrian Photography Workshop at The Institute for the League of Protection of Horses, Snetterton Norfolk on 21st May.
This full day workshop will be hosted by Steve Dawe of Real Time Imaging, an Equestrian Photographer with over fifteen years of experience of event and studio photography. Steve will be showing his techniques to achieve fantastic results when photographing both action and static shots.
The day starts with a short presentation by Canon on their latest technology used in cameras, lenses and flash. Following a health and safety briefing and an overview of the day given by Steve, we have geared the day to be very much hands on with dedicated sessions on studio photography, lighting horses, grooms and riders in situ using battery operated studio flash from Elinchrom and Lumedyne and also photographing horses moving and jumping, capturing the best moment and remote capture using wireless triggering.
Bring your cameras!!! This is truly a day when there will be plenty of opportunity to capture some stunning images.
Canon will have a range of cameras, lenses and accessories available to "touch and try" during the day, (subject to availability) and printers to produce beautiful prints of the days events. There will be Canon experts and Flash Centre staff on hand to offer help and advice on any aspect of lighting or camera queries.
The day will run from 10am to 4.30pm and costs just £40 including buffet lunch. See details below.
All profits from this event go to the ILPH.
