DEFRA strengthens legislation on identification of horses and ponies. Yesterday DEFRA issued the final details of the changes that apply from 1^st July 2009. A summary of the new rules and an indication of how they impact the NPS processes used by people registering and owning British Riding Ponies can be found under the Stud Book tab.
