DEFRA has recently issued a consultation document on the draft code of practice for welfare of equines.

Comments on the draft code must be submitted before the 10th December 2008.  The NPS will be commenting on the draft as part of the National Equine Welfare Council, however members are also invited to take part in this consultation by following the link below:
