Sandbourne Royal Ensign, who came to Australia with us in 2006, has had another busy Stud Season, covering 22 mares.
Now aged 27, Ensign's first crop of foals since his export, have just been appearing at the end of season Foal Shows here in Australia.
His son Penmain Heir Apparent, out of another UK import and past stablemate, Sufton Wild Rose, (Covenham Animation / Rosevean Gypsy Moth) has had four outings being Champion on every occasion, more recently Champion Colt at the Gala Events Riding Pony Show.
At the Magic Breeds Youngstock Show, Ascot Princess O'Hara (also by Ensign) won the Arabian Riding Pony Champion Filly sash, whilst Heir Apparent took the Champion Arabian Riding Pony Colt award, before going on to stand Supreme Arabian Derivative Weanling In Show.

Morton Stables - CANADA
Darlene Morton from Morton stables in Canada has written about the impact that the imported British Riding Pony stallion
Rosedale Top Cat
has had in both Canada and the USA in regards to his offspring,
He has once again in 2007 been the sire of the most inspected First Premium Premiere offspring in North America, with the American Sportpony Registry.
Unfortunately there is not a BRP registry in North America and therefore no BRP purebred shows in which to compete, making it necessary to show in Sportpony shows. The BRP is waving the flag for the breed and far surpassing the old leader, the German Riding Pony.
