The Young Judges Competition 2011

The NPS Young Judges competition took place on Tuesday, 2^nd August at the Three Counties Showground and was enjoyed by 44 competitors.   The aim of the competition is to encourage our younger members to learn more about the conformation and way of going of the British Riding Pony and Mountain and Moorland breeds and give them the opportunity to experience being a judge for an afternoon.  Competitors could choose which section they wanted to judge and there was a new age category of 22-25 added this year. 

Areas have been busy training their ¢â‚¬ËœYoung Judges' over the past few months and hopefully some of them will go on to become future NPS judges.

The NPS would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the Pony Providers for their help without which the competition would not take place.  Thank you also to the Judge/Assessors, the Stewards, Areas who nominated and trained competitors and the Judges Selection Committee.  Thank you and well done also to all the Young Judges who entered the competition and of course to all the sponsors for their generous donations for which we are most grateful.

THE NPS YOUNG JUDGE'S COMPETITION 2010

The NPS Young Judges competition took place Tuesday 3rd August at the Three Counties Showground and was enjoyed by many NPS members under the age of 26.  The aim of the competition is to encourage our younger members to learn more about the conformation and way of going of both the British Riding pony and the Mountain and Moorland Breeds.

Teams of young judges from across the country have been busy training over the last few months, and hopefully some of the young people involved will go on to become NPS judges in the future.

The NPS would like to thank the pony providers for their help, without which this competition would not be able to go ahead.  We would also like to express our thanks to the assessors, the area chairmen for nominating candidates and the Judges committee for their assistance in running the competition.
