 NPS Summer Championship Show Summary

At a recent Show Committee meeting the Summer Championships were discussed and all the suggestions that had been submitted by members were analysed.  Apart from a couple of things the general consensus was that the show was a success.

The two main bugbears this year were the quality of some of the temporary stabling and the water pressure in the stables areas.  These have already been addressed for next year's show.  Quality stabling has already been ordered and the Show Chairman and Vice Chairman met with a representative from TCAS to see what could be done about the water allocation.

The water pressure is an ongoing problem for all residents around Malvern, however, it was suggested that a shower complex would be sited at the position on the showground where the pressure is highest.  Water bowsers would be situated within the stable areas.

Unfortunately, the show was marred by some totally unnecessary vandalism of toilet and shower units on Friday night.  This will now lead to an additional cost of extra security as well as most units being locked at the end of the show in future.
